GMP Brass Flanged Bearings (Forward Stern Tube) are manufactured from centrifugally cast naval brass with a heavy-walled shell and an integral flange for robust installation. A specially formulated, oil- and chemical-resistant nitrile rubber lining is securely bonded to the metal shell to ensure reliable performance. The integral flange allows rigid bolting to the stern tube stuffing box, while the precision-machined male pilot on the flange accurately mates with the female recess of the stuffing box, ensuring correct alignment and positive retention. The ratio of Bearing Length to Shaft Diameter of Forward stern tube is 2:1 or Lesser unless specified.
• Imperial - For Shaft sizes, 2" to 20"
• Metric - For shaft sizes, 50 mm to 500 mm
Shell material: Brass 63/37 (C27200) up to 115 mm shaft diameter; Naval Brass for larger sizes,
